Dedicated shears for 10- to 100-ton excavators
XS Series shears are designed for use on excavators from 10 to 100t (boom or dipper mount) and are the most agile in the Kinshofer line. These shears come equipped with 360 degree endless rotation (no rotation is an option) and are suitable for a wide variety of applications including steel or concrete structure demolition, ship dismantling and work at scrapyards.
XS Series shears feature an above-average slewing ring size that allows for higher load while working horizontal, and its cylinder swivel bearing compensates for torsion forces that are applied during the shearing process. A greas-able pivot point is designed to minimize distortion forces, and large, heavy duty bearings reduce bushing wear. Units also feature exchangeable blades and tip, a reverse built-in cylinder that offers maximum protection to the piston rod (oil supply is made through the piston rod), and a large-dimensioned shearing arm bearing that reduces axial and bushing wear.
