McCloskey teams with Telsmith on portable crushers

The C50 heavy-duty track-mounted 50-inch (1,270-mm) jaw crusher is the first model in a new family of portable crushing plants from McCloskey. At the core of the new C50 model jaw crusher is a 50-inch by 26-inch (1,270-mm by 660-mm) single toggle jaw, developed in partnership with Telsmith Inc. “Crushing equipment is a natural next step in the evolution of Mc-Closkey International,” says Paschal McCloskey, company president. “As industry leaders in screening equipment, we feel that it’s time we began delivering complete aggregate productivity solutions for our customers with a series of crushing plants that carry the McCloskey name.” Key features of C50 crushers include: 300 rpm crusher speed; a Tier III-compliant Cat C9 engine; 350 hp (261 kW) @ 1,900 rpm; a track chassis or track c\w wheel bogie; an integrated hydraulic folding hopper and hydraulic folding stockpiling convey- ors; an open chassis design for ease of maintenance; and fast setup time.

Units are highway transportable without oversize waivers, and the feed hopper has an 8.9 yd3 (6.8 m3) capacity, while the grizzly feeder is 46.5 inches by 169 inches (1,180 mm by 4,300 mm) with adjustable speed up to 975 rpm. Side conveyors on these models are 26 inches by seven feet four inches (650 mm by 2,230 mm), and the main conveyor is 42 inches by 13 feet 10 inches (1,050 mm by 4,210 mm.)
