Biggest composting and organics recycling show in North America brings the industry together

From January 24th, 2011, the US Composting Council's 19th Annual Conference & Trade Show runs through the 27th, and takes place at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, in San Francisco. The show is still open to attendees but is sold out to exhibitors and equipment demonstrators.  

According to the Winter edition of the USCC newsletter, this conference is "the world's largest conference & exhibition for the organics management industry," and encompasses topics including "composting, anaerobic digestion, compostable plastics, renewable energy from organics, and wood waste and organics recycling."   The conference's program will feature more than 100 educational  and technical presentations, 13 training courses, over 100 exhibitors, facility tours and live equipment demonstrations from 25 manufacturers.  

The USCC Winter edtion goes on to say; "No where else can you get more than 1,000 attendees and more than 100 exhibitors from all over the U.S. and around the globe together to discuss composting, organics recycling, anaerobic digestion and other organics treatment technologies, organics waste management, greenhouse gas emissions, carbon credits, renewable energy, and markets for all products and by-products. No where else can you see the breadth of the industry together in one location."    

The USCC is the U.S national, non-profit trade and professional organization promoting the recycling of organic materials through composting.
