ProSort airless metal recovery systems are engineered to improve metal separation while operating at a low cost. The system uses metal sensors aligned with low energy electromagnetically-driven paddles to separate metals from waste. No air compressors are required for these modular, low maintenance systems and units feature several metal recovery modes including stainless steel. Powerful “kicking” action provides easy segregation and electromagnetic operation exceeds 20 million cycles. Additionally, by replacing expensive air compressor plants with energy-efficient electromagnetic drives, the ProSort system requires less than 25 percent of the electricity of an air powered sorter.
