Consignaction

The The Québec Beverage Container Recycling Association and Consignaction is the designated management organization by the government (Recyc-Québec) to manage the deposit system for single-fill and multiple-fill beverage containers. The association is responsible for the development, implementation, financing, and management of the modernized deposit system according to the principle of extended producer responsibility.

The assocation acts in place of beverage producers involved in the recovery, reuse, recycling, and recovery of beverage containers in Québec.

The network includes several hundred return sites locations across Québec, including new Consignaction-branded sites dedicated solely to beverage container recovery.
