DEX Heavy Duty Parts LLC, a Volvo Group subsidiary and leading supplier of recycled, renovated and surplus medium- and heavy-duty truck parts, has celebrated the grand opening of its new facility in Oklahoma City. The facility joins DEX's current facility in Advance, North Carolina to better serve owners of second- and third-generation trucks with recycled and renovated parts.

Just three weeks after the unveiling of Volvo Trucks' first all-electric truck, the Volvo FL Electric, the company is expanding its product range with yet another electric truck. The Volvo FE Electric is designed for heavier city distribution and refuse transport operations with gross weights of up to 27 tonnes. Sales will commence in Europe in 2019.
Martin Weissburg, currently President of Volvo Construction Equipment, will become President of Mack Trucks effective June 1, 2018, in which capacity he will continue to be a member of the Executive Board for the Volvo Group. Martin Weissburg was born in 1962, and has served as President of Volvo Construction Equipment since 2014. He joined the Volvo Group in 2005 as President of Volvo Financial Services Americas, and in 2010 became global President of Volvo Financial Services. He will be headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA.
