For over thirty years, the founders of NWGR have also owned and operated Cloverdale Disposal Ltd., a construction and demolition debris disposal company in the Greater Vancouver area.
The first NWGR gypsum wallboard recycling plant was built in New Westminster (Vancouver), British Columbia. Subsequent North American plants have been established in Toronto, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta, in Canada and Seattle, Washington in the United States.
