Harvest Power Inc. recently announced that its Canadian subsidiary, Harvest Urban Wood Recycling, Ltd, has merged with Smithers Enterprises, Inc. (SEI), to expand and enhance its wood recycling services in the Metro Vancouver region.

On February 20th, Harvest Power unveiled their new Central Florida Energy Garden, an organics management and renewable energy facility that is the first of its kind in the U.S., converting organic waste into renewable biogas and natural fertilizers. The anaerobic digester combines a unique set of proven technologies and will divert hundreds of thousands of tons of waste from Central Florida landfills.
Harvest Power launches North America's largest commercial-scale high solids anaerobic digester and compost facility
On September 11, 2013, Harvest, along with its partners, officially launched its Energy Garden in Richmond, British Columbia. The new facility is the largest commercial-scale high solids anaerobic digester in North America. The Energy Garden is located at Harvest’s site in Richmond, B.C. and has the capacity to convert up to 40,000 tonnes of food and yard waste per year from area homes, businesses, restaurants and supermarkets into clean energy and compost.
