Stump shear in mechanical and hydraulic configurations

Stump shear in mechanical and hydraulic configurations
Ideal as a downsizing tool for use with grinders and other wood processing machines, the Lemac Stump Shear is now available in both mechanical and hydraulic configurations. The mechanical model requires no additional hydraulics, and pins on in place of a bucket. It uses an excavator’s bucket cylinder to power the single blade jaw through the tree stump. The hydraulic version has a greater opening and generates quick, extra powerful cycle times. The shear’s outer jaw has two ripper spikes which have oversized replaceable ESCO teeth. These prongs are used to pry the stump from the ground while the inner jaw, equipped with a replaceable blade, shears the stump. Various models of Lemac Stump Shear fit machines from 24,700 to 104,000 pounds (11 to 47 metric tons), blade lengths are from 29 to 40 inches (737 mm to 1,016 mm) and maximum openings are from approximately 44 inches to 82 inches (1,118 mm to 2,083 mm).
