The one- inch-thick inner resilient cushion material is manufactured using a naturally-derived formulation that includes annually renewable agricultural resources as its main ingredient. This unique biodegradable foam exhibits nature-friendly characteristics that allow it to break down into small particles when discarded. It is safe and non-toxic, and can be recycled, disposed of in a landfill, or composted in a commercial, municipal, or campus facility.
The polyethylene-free, certified outer protective film exhibits superior mechanical properties, compostability, and product longevity. When buried in soil or composted, this entire product will safely biodegrade within a short period of time. The Biodegradable seat cushion complies with ASTM D6400 standards.
