The McClos-key 412 RT (equipped with radial stacker and tracks) is a track-mounted trommel fully equipped with a four-foot by 12-foot screening drum, radial stacker and an optional tipping grid, all packed into an incredibly compact unit that transports at under 32 feet (overall length).
The design of the tracked 412 trommel is based on the wheeled 412 R, which was designed to travel on a pintle hook and a single-axle undercarriage. 412 RT units feature a low loading height, large hopper, long tracks, and are small enough to tow behind a dump truck, and low enough to travel on a regular step-deck. Other key features include a crawler base and four jack legs, an optional tipping grid, the Drum X-Change System which allows customers to change screen size in a matter of minutes, and an 80-hp Caterpillar 3054C engine. Tier 3 engines for these models will be available to meet regulations coming into effect in 2008.
