Split cart for dual stream automated collection

The Otto Split Cart is a dual stream cart for automated collection systems, and is separated in two halves by an inner plastic divider, with a separate lid for each stream. Collection trucks are designed with two hoppers, to keep the contents from being contaminated with each other. Cost savings for a municipality or hauler is realized in both collection and processing, as this dual sort system allows for quicker truck cycle times and less sorting at the facility. Hotstamping or in-mould labels instruct the resident what type of refuse or recycla-bles go in each side of the container. Units are available in 64 and 96 gallon sizes, and in various colours.
