MRF monitoring system
This OIS 2000 Office Interface System provides immediate, realtime production and operations detail of an MRF, and links directly to production and maintenance managers, or to a plant manager’s laptop or PC.
Using an industry-specific belt scale, co-developed with Siemens, the amount of recyclable material processed is measured in tons per hour, in real time. By monitoring and documenting production detail, information can be used to identify and resolve the real sources of downtime, black belt, cross-contamination and low productivity. As material comes down the belt, operators can see how many pounds are being processed. OIS 2000 also shows how motors, conveyor belts and all the components of a system are working. Additionally, this system’s software automatically transfers data into a spreadsheet, greatly reducing the time needed for production data input, and the system software creates an event log.
