Carpet recycler produces post-consumer nylon 6,6

Universal Fibres has developed state of the art technology that allows for the production of post-consumer nylon 6,6 fibre from recycled carpeting. This technology works in cooperation with new technology developed by InterfaceFLOR, and will separate carpet face fibre from backing in a way that preserves the materials in a form suitable for recycling. Units work for carpet from both commercial and residential markets.
