Broom attachment offers 60-inch sweeping surface
SweepEx recently introduced their Mega 600 model, offering a 60-inch long mainframe and sweeping surface. Ideal for a variety of applications, including cleanup in MRFs, recycling and transfer stations, SweepEx Mega Series broom attachments are able to handle materials ranging from dirt and material spills, to standing water, steel shavings and gravel. Units are adaptable to most service vehicles, with available mounting kits for forklifts, bucket lips, three-point hitches (class 1 & 2) and skid-steer pivots. Designed for high productivity and minimum down time, SweepEx brooms are built with no moving parts, eliminating the cleaning and lubrication of sprockets and bearings typically associated with rotary-style brooms. Brush replacement is quick and easy with the unique brush section system. By simply detaching the rugged end protectors, the broom’s brush sections are easily replaced, rotated or removed.
The modular construction of the Sweep-Ex line minimizes dust and flying debris, protecting the operator, machinery and work environment. The broom’s polypropylene brush sections offer both durability and flexibility.
Constructed of high-quality industrial steel and protected with a heavy powder-coat finish, the Mega Series includes 11 brush rows for maximum cleaning power. With the ability to attach MegaWing 90 (nine-inch) and MegaWing 180 (18-inch) broom extenders to each end of the broom, the Mega 600 can be increased up to 96 inches for the largest applications.
