Grinder-mounted stump splitter easily handles oversize material

Peterson’s new Spiral Stump Splitter (patent pending) is specifically designed to more easily handle oversized material such as stumps. Unlike conventional shears, which require a dedicated excavator, the Spiral Stump Splitter works in tandem with a horizontal grinder. Units mount directly onto the grinder, and work while an operator loads feed material. One operator is required for loader, grinder and Splitter. When the Splitter is not required, it can be rotated into a travel position.
