Screener / crushers
SM screener/crushers are ideal for use in the composting industry to mix, aerate and/or crush different materials such as food waste and animal mortality, and units are extremely effective in processing dif-ficult green waste materials.
The SM247 (shown here) is being used on an excavator for the separation of waste bark, so that the material can be used to sell to a pulp mill for fuel. According to the owners at this application, using the bucket six days a week, 20 hours per day, the average daily tonnage or ready-to-haul product is more than 330 tons.
The X 80 drum used in these units is also an effective tool for soil stabilization. Units will separate stones and contaminates from soil resulting in four-inch minus size, and can also crush C&D, wallboards or pallets.
