DuraTech’s 2009 industrial tub grinder now comes equipped with a CAT 312 Track System, and according to the company, is specially formulated for the customer who wants value and needs to work on rough terrain.
This new model marries the clean-powered CAT C9 325 hp diesel engine with a microprocessor-controlled, self-adjusting clutch system. The result is an extremely reliable, low-maintenance, heavy-duty machine for any grinding needs. The 2009T tub grinder is also designed to emit exceptionally low fuel emissions and features an extremely low decibel reading.
Other key features of the DuraTech model 2009T industrial tub grinder include: an enclosed engine compartment designed for easy access to engine parts; a heavy duty 40-inch rotor with fixed or swinging hammers; maintenance reducing clean air flow system that targets the radiator and engine components; a 24-inch wide stacking conveyor; 30-inch wide belly belt; a heavy duty 120H drive chain, and spring adjustable chain tension; and a continuous chain sprocket around the tub that gives the single drive motor extra power.
