Handheld carpet ID system first of its kind
The Polychromix PHAZIR Carpet ID System is the first of its kind fully handheld carpet identifier, according to its manufacturer. Ergonomically designed for user friendly operation, the Phazir provides fast, accurate and reliable results in materials identification applications, for incoming material inspection, for quality control and assurance, and for portable field use.
Features of the portable, handheld PHAZIR Carpet ID System include: four pounds (1.8 kg) weight; a colour LCD screen; rear facing LED indicators; rechargeable Li-Ion batteries with more than ten hours of operation time; and minimal training required.
Identification of a variety of material types is possible with these units, including: PP, Nylon 6, Nylon 6-6, Wool, PET, PTT, Acrylics, and Rayon. Additional materials can be easily added via the web / email upgrades Analysis time on these units is instantaneous, and a high-strength, injection molded plastic housing withstands harsh environments. Units are safe for use (a standard harmless light source is used) and include simple point and shoot operation, non destructive measurement, a colour display with advanced and intuitive user interface. All data is stored in the unit’s memory and is downloadable to PC for logging or additional processing.
