Large, mobile container provides security for sensitive documents
This new MegaKart mobile paper receptacle uses an external locking system that incorporates a large-size paper slot. This allows users to deposit sensitive documents, safe in the knowledge that they will remain secure right up until the shredding process.
The MegaKart paper receptacle with lockable lid comes in two sizes: 96 and 65 US gallons (360 and 243 litres). The larger one can easily hold as much as 355 pounds (160 kg) of documents and the smaller one can hold 235 pounds (107 kg). The ability to hold so much paper can economize on the frequency of shredding requirements. Shredding can be done onsite, or at a remote location, since superior quality wheels make it easy to move the MegaKart and even roll it onto a truck.
Engineered for a long productive life, MegaKart with lockable lid offers such structural features as ergonomic handles and reinforced lift points. Even when MegaKart is fully loaded with documents, its shape will not deform. It can be kept at a central location or be moved around during file maintenance and periodic purging of documents. Ideal applications for the MegaKart with lockable lid include paper recyclers and shredders, hospitals and healthcare facilities, offices and institutions, government, municipal and insurance offices, general industry, military establishments, and sci-entific laboratories. MegaKart is made of injection-molded HDPE (high-density polyethylene) resin, for strength and economy, and designed to be universally compatible with both fully automated and semi-automated paper handling systems. Anti-jam stops allow these carts to be nested and stacked fully assembled, for economical shipping. As well, pre-installed factory parts permit faster onsite assembly than is possible with other carts.
