Purpose-built 370 LX

Purpose-built 370 LX
The purpose-built Link-Belt 370 LX material handler is designed to be “smart,” fast and features an operating weight of 104,145 pounds and maximum swing torque of 112,110 foot-pounds (152.0 kNm). The high-wide X-pattern undercarriage and over-sized heavy-duty carbody improve stability by distributing weight evenly, and the undercarriage is integrally welded for maximum power and durability. The 370 LX is available with two or three piece attachments, a variety of cab risers, hydraulically-driven generator packages and custom controls. Units are powered by a 247 hp Isuzu six-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine with Electronic Engine Control for increased responsiveness, faster cycle times and increased fuel efficiency.

LBX Company #2029AEM scrap and material handler safety manualA 48-page manual for those who own, rent, operate or maintain scrap and material handlers is available from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM). The manual contains basic safety “dos and dont’s” for typical work situations and is clearly written with illustrations for easy readability. It covers general safety precautions, start-up and shut-down guidelines and procedures for safe machine operation and maintenance.

The manual is designed for use with scrap and material handlers in general and thus is suitable for all types of makes and models. It is intended to supplement, not replace safety codes, laws, rules and regulations or manufacturer operating manuals. AEM-safety oriented manuals and videos are developed by volunteer executives from association member companies.
