Grapple attachment ideal for tight spaces
The LG42 grapple attachment from Vermeer was developed to help lift and move various materials with ease and efficiency in confined spaces. Designed for use with the Vermeer S600TX compact utility loader, the LG42 grapple attaches in about one minute to a universal mounting plate that’s locked in by two pins. The grapple’s jaws are optimally positioned to grip material and position it close to the compact utility loader. When open, the jaws can grip material up to 36 inches (90 cm) in diameter, and can orient the material to optimize the load capacity of the compact utility loader.
The attachment’s ability to lift heavy loads benefits users by eliminating the need for workers to manually lift. A bar on the grapple can push material into position before clasping, and a “tooth” can pull loads in line with the machine in order to position the grapple directly over material.
