Electric Vehicles Conference
The EV 2010 VE Electric Vehicles Conference and Trade Show is Canada’s premier electric mobility event for 2010. It brought together representatives of the vehicle industry – including small companies, energy providers, fleet managers, government agencies, research centers, academia and others. The conference was from Monday September 13th to Thursday September 16, 2010.
The view from the show floor;
NOVEX Delivery Solutions out of Richmond, B.C., they are the first in Canada to operate 100% electric delivery trucks were exhibiting with Smith Electric Vehicles the company that manufactured their trucks.
Canadian Electric Vehicles Ltd from Errigton, B.C., was one of the busiest exhibitors there. They have been building electric vehicles since 1990 and market to municipalities and other government agencies.
AZD Azure Dynamics, AZD and Ford Motor Company have joined in a collaborative effort to deliver the Transit Connect Electric for the North American market.
Navistar from Oregon, introducing the new electric vehicle “eStar”, a pure electric commercial truck.
Leviton, Electric Vehicle Charging. They manufacture charging systems for residential, light commercial/fleet and commercial/public sectors.
CrossChasm, They are a company that can optimize your green fleet operations to lower costs and reduce emissions
Other Companies exhibiting were Toyota, Power Tech (BC Hydro) AddENERGIE, tm4Systems, Province of Ontario, National Center for Advanced Transportation, Schneider Electric, National Research Council of Canada, REV rapid electric vehicles, Chevrolet, Nissan Canada.
