Demolition bucket for wheel and track loaders
Genesis Attachments has introduced a demolition bucket for use with wheel and track loaders that turns conventional loaders into high-speed and long distance material handlers.
The Genesis Demolition Bucket (GDMB) is designed to balance strength and weight, providing a bucket that excels at grabbing, densifying and moving material in a broad range of applications, including demolition, C&D sorting, scrap handling and compaction, disaster recov- ery, road building and reconstruction, waste handling, and rip rap movement. The Demolition Bucket dramatically increases load-out potential, for example, allowing a machine designed to load 3.5 cubic yards per pass, to easily handle 7.0 cubic yards of material. At the same time, its rigid design resists twisting, even when handling oversized, uneven loads. Wear factors have been minimized through use of weld-on wear teeth (on top clamp) and wear plates – both constructed of highly abrasion-resistant AR400 steel. The lower bucket features a bolt-on bucket tooth system that is compatible with any other tooth system available.
The combination of powerful clamping force and fast cycle times means material – including prepared, unprepared and shredded scrap – can be quickly and easily moved onsite to allow for easier segregation. In addition to the wealth of material movement, densifying and loading options, the Demolition Bucket is also extremely ef fective onsite as a general-purpose bucket. It is currently available in two model sizes, the GDMB 250 (two to 2.5 cubic yard capacity) and GDMB 350 (three to 3.5 cubic yard capacity). Additional sizes will be available soon.
