Bear-resistant carts

Otto BearSaver bear-resistant carts are designed for regions that have problems with animals getting into waste and recycling containers. Available in 120-, 260- and 360-litre roll-out carts, units have been extensively tested for durability and have been certified as Grizzly Bear Resistant. Lighter strengths are available for less forceful animals such as black bears, coyotes and raccoons.

These carts are designed for manual and semi-automated collection systems, and use a unique patent-pending push-to-close latching system, which helps ensure that the container is re-latched easily. Carts are simple to open with one-finger, and are made with injection-moulded construction.
