High capacity balers
Bollegraaf HBC 180 balers are capable of processing a broad spectrum of recycled fibres and containers at a high speed into very dense, homogenous packed bales while using minimal electrical power. Equipped with two 125 hp motors the HBC 180 can process up to 40 tons/hr of OCC and up to 80 tons/hr of News/High Grades assuming constant, sufficient feeding.
A range of Bollegraaf HBC series balers vary from 25 to 180 tons. The most recent model is the HBC 120, which produces very dense bales of 30 inches, by 45 inches, similar to the HBC 100F model, but with pressure similar to the HBC 180. Key features include: a pre-press flap to ensure optimal degrees of charging and high capacity; patented needle heads with a self-cleaning, maintenance-friendly design; high quality hydraulic cylinders with self-aligning suspensions; maximum processing speed at low horsepower; quiet, reliable, Swiss-made internal gear pumps; and a ram supported by wheels with anti-friction bearings which minimize guide wear.
Rufflers, TurboPress, an extra wide feed hopper and bottle perforator or crosswires are available, as well as B.I.O.S. – the Bollegraaf Information and Operating System, and BOSS – the Bollegraaf Operating Safety System. BOSS is designed to disconnect the machine mechanisms as soon as an operator enters the “danger zone” of the feeding area.
