Tub grinder
The TG7000 tub grinder offers many of the same features as the TG9000, but with unique characteristics for large land-clearing projects and organics and wood processing applications.
The TG7000 has two CAT 3412 E engine options including an 860 hp (641 kw), and a 1,000 hp (746 kw). The machine’s gross weight makes it easy to transport, and with the air-ride super-single wheel option, ground clearance is improved for better off-road manoeuvrability.
The TG7000 features a self-tensioning, maintenance-free tub drive chain. The unit has an inside tub diameter of ten feet (three metres), a depth of 56 inches (142 cm), and an 11-foot, four-inch (3.45 metre) loading height. A 13-foot (four metre) tub flare makes loading large and bulky material easier, and the tub table lifts over 90 degrees for easy tub cleanout and millbox access.
