Self-dumping hoppers
These “narrow” (1/2 cubic yard) Self-Dumping Hoppers are designed to pass through a standard three-foot doorway. Units are “construction-grade” and are ideal for manoeuvring throughout single or multi-story buildings. Extra heavy-duty construction ensures the ability to handle all types of construction refuse including broken-up concrete, brick, and block. Units will out-last light gauge sheet metal hoppers many times over.
Important safety features include a “Safety Chain & Grab Hook” to secure the hopper and keep it from sliding off the forks when travelling or dumping. In addition, a convenient “Rope Release” allows the operator to dump the hopper from the forklift seat or from the ground, safely away from the dump area. Star Self-Dumping Hoppers can be used on both extendible-reach and straight–mast forklifts. Models are available with one to 2.5 cubic yard capacities.
