Ingersoll Rand has entered the Milling machine market with the introduction of the MT-2000 and the MW-500 milling machines, which are ideal for asphalt pavement recycling applications.
The Ingersoll Rand MT-2000 is a four-track, front-load, half-lane milling machine powered by a 600-horsepower Tier 3 Cummins engine. The MT-2000 offers three distinct drum cutting speeds, and can run both 78.75 inch (2000 millimetre) and 86 inch (2185 millimetre) drums. Units also feature a four-track system, five steering modes, and an independent slope sensor that alerts the operator if the machine is out of an acceptable range, and adjusts the support legs to level the machine. The MT-2000 also incorporates advanced technology with intuitive operator panels that are easy to understand and operate.
