Concrete slab buster
The Hammerhead II Model HB 550 is a totally self-contained hydraulic concrete slab buster designed to demolish concrete flatwork. Concrete is turned to rubble at a 45 degree angle from the point of impact and can include floors, driveways, bridge decks and roadways up to 12 inches thick. These units use only three moving parts, and operate either horizontally or vertically.
The HB 550 features 3,350 psi of hydraulic pressure, 25 to 40 blows per minute, and up to 4,000 ft/lbs of impact force. Units weigh 1,130 pounds and mount easily on 5,000 to 9,000 pound skid steers, 7,000 to 15,000 pound mini-excavators and 9,000 to 16,500 pound loader/ backhoes.
