High capacity trommel
With easy set up, long life
The Powerscreen Phoenix 2100 trommel is designed for high production capacity and low maintenance. Units set up in about five minutes and are engineered for long service life in compost, topsoil, recycling, and wood chip applications.
The drum on these units measures more than 21 feet, two inches by six feet, four inches in diameter, and is comprised of four panels with five meshes per panel, featuring Powerscreen’s quick-change mesh system. The screening area is more than 34 square feet, and the screening angle is adjustable. Hopper capacity is 8.5 cubic yards and the direct-drive feed conveyor with reverse and variable speed control is 42 inches wide.
Additionally, a hydraulic kick-out system prevents barrel stalling, and the collection conveyor is 48 inches wide. The radial and oversize conveyors are 36 inches wide, are angle adjustable and fold hydraulically. Maximum stockpile heights are 19 feet, five inches (radial) and 11 feet, two inches (oversize). Radial and oversize conveyors are angle adjustable.
Units also include double axle, leaf spring suspension and power is supplied by a 174-hp Cat. Other parts include a David Brown flywheel and PTO pumps, conveyor motors by Danfoss, and trommel drum motors by White Hydraulics. Options include triple axle, tipping grid, single- or double-deck vibrating grid, and punch plate screens.
