HORIZONTAL GRINDER ON TRACKS
The Vermeer HG6000TX horizontal grinder features a track undercarriage with 20-inch or 24-inch double grouser track pads using sealed track rollers and compressed coil springs to provide increased traction in unstable ground conditions. Units are available with two Cat Tier II engine options up to 630 hp (469 kW).
The boxed track frame is set at a two degree tilt to allow increased ground clearance at the front of the infeed, providing more clearance on approach angles when tracking up hills and through creeks and other adverse terrain conditions. Key features include a top access millbox, removable anvil design, the patent pending SmartGrind monitoring system, and remote control operation. The HG6000TX also includes a standard HPTO clutch and the patented Duplex Drum system.
