These flow-through B-Train aluminium live-floor trailers are designed to carry more product in one load, reduce cycle times, and carry two different loads to separate destinations with one truck, without unhooking.
The secret to creating this 62-foot, eight-inch long trailer, according to company representatives, is the hydraulic system that brings the two trailers together. “If a trucker has two loads going to two different locations, this trailer can do it,” explains Mike Kloepfer, Titan Trailers’ President. “If he shows up at the tipper and there is a line up to get on, he has the option of unloading almost 5,000 cubic feetof product in less than ten minutes. If the load is frozen, the operator can change the direction of the Walking Floor system on the lead trailer and unload it through the front of the trailer.” This new trailer has approximately 25 percent more carrying capacity than Titan’s 53-foot Tipper or live-floor trailers, and uses patented Thinwall side panels and a KEITH Walking Floor system and complies with Transport Canada highway regulations.
