Metal recycler Regulator-Cetrisa names new general manager
Joaquin Cano will implement growth and development in metal separation and sorting solutions

REGULATOR-CETRISA, a developer of solutions for metal separation and recovery within the recycling sector, announces the appointment of Joaquín Cano as its new general manager.
An industrial engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Joaquín Cano brings more than 20 years of experience in technical management, innovation, and business development within the industrial and recycling sectors. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions in companies such as PICVISA, BIANNA, and CONTANK, where he has led engineering projects, process automation initiatives, and strategic management efforts.
In his most recent role, he served as R&D director at Bianna, following his previous position as technical director of the Thermodynamics division at the same company. He led multidisciplinary teams and international projects focused on innovation, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Joaquín Cano complements his technical background with solid training in management and data analysis. He holds a postgraduate degree in Big Data, Data Analysis, and Data Protection, and another in Industrial and Services Project Management, both completed at the UPC School. His education strengthens his focus on digitalization and technological transformation in industrial environments.
The appointment of Joaquín Cano is part of REGULATOR-CETRISA's new phase of growth and expansion following its incorporation into the PICVISA-Calaf Group, aimed at reinforcing innovation, expanding international reach, and developing advanced metal separation and sorting solutions.
