McNeilus shows off autonomous AI recycling robot and fully electric vehicles at WasteExpo

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc., will spotlight its broad portfolio of refuse and recycling collection solutions at WasteExpo 2025, May 5 to 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Attendees can explore McNeilus' latest autonomous, electric, and legacy diesel-powered technologies.

McNeilus' booth will feature a lineup of electric and diesel-powered refuse and recycling collection vehicles and technology, including:

  • McNeilus Volterra ZFF: A fully electric front loader engineered to meet the rigorous demands of commercial waste and recycling operations, delivering zero emission operation and all-day performance. 
  • Zero radius side loader with CartSeeker: A side loader combining powerful performance with smart automation, utilizing CartSeeker AI to streamline container recognition and optimize route efficiency. This advanced refuse and recycling truck offers an innovative, yet simple, zero-radius operation.
  • HARR-E demonstrator (Hail-able Autonomous Refuse Robot - Electric): An AI-powered, on-demand autonomous refuse and recycling collection robot demonstrator linked to a smartphone or smart home assistant, first introduced at CES 2025.
  • CartSeeker with electric zero radius arm demonstrator: A hands-on display featuring AI technology, smart automation, and precision controls to promote operational route efficiency.

McNeilus shows its commitment to the future at WasteExpo

McNeilus will also participate in the EREF Live Auction at Waste Expo 2025, contributing a 40 yd. Atlantic Series Front Loader body mounted on a Mack TerraPro chassis to support environmental research and education initiatives.
