Lindemann Metal Recycling has appointed two new people to its North American support team.

Oziel Villalobos and Rick Drought have been appointed to the role of business manager. In their new roles, both are tasked with nurturing and expanding relationships with clients across North America, including Mexico and Canada. Their roles, along with existing long-term Americas Business Managers Vicki Fenton and Lisa Shimek, involve frequent meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored service solutions. They are also the advance guard in spotting new capital equipment opportunities. They are both keen on building and managing relationships, not just making sales.

Villalobos spent nearly 15 years in sales, selling steel for large infrastructure projects, such as stadiums and commercial buildings. He holds a degree in finance, and his familiarity with the metal industry stems from both professional and family ties,  making his transition to Lindemann a natural fit. Drought, on the other hand, has spent the last nine years in the recycled materials industry, with hands-on experience that spans from mechanic work to managerial roles.

Outside of work, Villalobos and Drought both enjoy football – although admittedly of different types. Villalobos enjoys the soccer variety, a passion rooted in his Mexican heritage, while Drought is an ardent fan of American football. Together, they embody a blend of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm, poised to contribute significantly to Lindemann Metal Recycling's growth in North America.
