REDWAVE has launched the REDWAVE TEX, a new sorting solution designed specifically for the textile industry. REDWAVE says that the machine looks to identify and sort textiles.

REDWAVE TEX sorts materials according to predefined parameters and can handle two primary tasks: sorting whole garments for reuse and sorting shredded textiles for industrial processing.

REDWAVE TEX's sensor technology enables accurate identification and sorting of textiles according to predefined criteria. It can process large volumes of textiles quickly and efficiently while also being capable of being customized to meet the specific needs of each recycler. Whether that is colour, size, material composition, or other parameters this sorting machine can be programmed accordingly. Since the sorting process is automated, the amount of labour needed on the sorting line is decreased. Market demands can also change quickly. That's why REDWAVE made the sorting criteria in the machine can be easily adjusted.

The REDWAVE TEX will be on display at IFAT 2024.
