AMP Robotics is now AMP. After nearly a decade in business, AMP has become a company with a large fleet operating in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Japan. Because of how much the company has evolved, AMP decided it was time for an updated brand.

The new brand aims to reflect AMP's increased focus on facility-scale sorting systems for the waste and recycling industry. AMP's facility-scale sortation systems integrate AI-powered technology. AMP says that it helps facilities deliver ideal resource recovery with little labour costs.

AMP calls its facility-scale sortation system AMP ONE. Matanya Horowitz, the founder and CEO of AMP, says that AMP ONE utilizes the company's experience in recycling technology to help realize the potential that sortation at scale possesses.

AMP says that AMP ONE is more than robotics, it's a solution that looks to solve some of the challenges the industry faces. Because of this evolution, the company decided a new brand was the right step.

"We're incredibly excited about what we've shown is achievable when the capabilities of AI are built in at the facility level," said Horowitz in a blog post. "Whether it's in safety, data, reliability, consistency, handling of exceptionally dirty material streams, cost, or environmental impact, we've been able to bring a new level of performance into the realm of the possible – and we're ready to rapidly expand the scale and scope of the recycling industry."
