Accent's new compact rotary wire tier designed to lower cost for two-ram baler operations
Acquisition of Cavert Wire to form largest North American baling wire supplier, according to Accent Wire Tie
Accent Wire Tie has introduced the Accent R400 Wire Tier. The company also recently acquired Cavert Wire Company, a major manufacturer of baling wire, which according to Accent, forms North America's largest and most strategic supplier for all baling wire products and bale packaging equipment.
The Accent R400 Wire Tier is next-generation rotary tier technology designed to deliver unparalleled performance for recycling and waste facilities. It is engineered to be installed or retrofitted on two-ram balers.
"This next-generation strapper is the product of a three-year development process by our industry-leading engineering team," said Bill Sims, president and CEO, Accent Wire Tie. "Customers and dealers in the recycling and waste industry will greatly benefit having this new wire tier technology in our equipment line. The Accent R400 Wire Tier embodies the reputation for quality and excellence established by Accent over 35 years."
High efficiency 4-twist knot:
The Accent R400 knotter performs a non-reciprocating 4-twist rotary knotting sequence, enabling operators to utilize a less costly, finer gauge baling wire without sacrificing safe operation and transport.
Lower operating costs
Engineered for less maintenance, with fewer moving parts and time saving quick-change patented removable parts cartridge.
The R400 is designed with a smaller footprint to accommodate different baler design obstacles for tier placement.
Acquisition creates largest supplier of baling wire and packaging
July 1, Accent Wire Tie announced the acquisition of Cavert Wire Company, North America's largest manufacturer of baling wire. Cavert was founded in 1910 and is based in Rural Hall, North Carolina.
"We are delighted to welcome Cavert to the Accent family," said Bill Sims, president and CEO, Accent Wire Tie. "Cavert has an unmatched legacy of manufacturing quality baling wire and will bring an Accent-operated producing mill into the industry's largest and most comprehensive supply chain. Cavert's sales team and production facility are a great addition to Accent."
According to Accent, this acquisition forms North America's largest and most strategic supplier for all baling wire products and bale packaging equipment. The combined market presence enhances Accent's ability to deliver best-quality products, equipment, and service to the industry.
"We are excited to join forces with Accent," said Charles Spittler, president, Cavert Wire Company. "Cavert's long-term experience supplying the recycling industry and our North Carolina plant are important additions to Accent. We are looking forward to new opportunities and growth for our team."
