Rockster introduces latest compact impact crushing plant

Following the R1000S, Rockster's most compact impact crusher, the Impactor R700S, is now being manufactured at the company's new location.

Since mid-last year, Austria-based Rockster has moved to a larger production facility, and recently announced serial production of its most compact impact crushing plant, the Impactor R700S.

According to Rockster Austria International, consistent quality control, better control of delivery times and expansion of production capacity were the main reasons for their 2019 move from Ennsdorf to Neumarkt im Mühlkreis, Austria. Production of the Rockster impact crusher R1000S, equipped with a multitude of technical refinements, was the first hard test at the new location. 

With a total weight of only 19.6 t and a length of 9 meters, the new impactor R700S is the most compact system in the Rockster portfolio, therefore the most cost-sensitive, according to the company. The double-functional return and stockpile belt, which was first built for the R700S, has proven itself and is now used on almost all other Rockster models. In the course of the new model production, the control system has been revised and a quick start function for the R700S crusher has been introduced. This enables the system to be engaged and running by pressing just two buttons on the remote control. 

Plus, Rockster says a new material feed monitoring system guarantees the best possible utilization of the crusher and contributes to an increase in performance of up to 25 percent. The overload protection in the crushing chamber also ensures safety against blockages and thus reduces downtime. 

The new R700S is equipped with the latest STAGE5 engine generation from Volvo Penta with 220PS.
