In January, AMCS Group announced the acquisition of Insight Environmental, a leading software and solutions provider to the recycling and waste management market in North America. This strategic move supports AMCS’ goal to become the world's leading provider of software solutions and technology to the waste and recycling industry.
AMCS says the acquisition of Insight Environmental adds to their growing presence & reputation in the North American market and adds to the capabilities of its’ distributor Capturit. The software and solutions developed by Insight will compliment those from AMCS and will now open up further opportunities to access the growing demand from the industry for innovative products and services.
Founded in 2002 Insight has established a customer footprint across North America with its leading landfill and hauling billing and operations platform. Insight software complements AMCS’ strength in On-Board system technology and MRF management software. The combined product suite will provide a powerful one-stop shop for the North American market. The additional expertise and sound knowledge of the North American market gained following the Insight acquisition will position AMCS well for continued growth.
