A number of unique features increase longevity of the Fuchs MHL350 material handler. Large, separate radiators provide direct airflow for optimum cooling performance to improve system reliability, while hydraulically driven reversing fans keep the water and intercooler radiators cleaner for less component wear. The machine's air cyclone prefilter removes most of the dust particles common at scrap yards and transfer stations before entering the air filter to maximize filter life and provide clean air to the engine. High pressure hydraulic filters reduce oil contamination help to minimize damage to the system components.

The unique Fuchs service platform keeps the mechanic inside of the machine to offer a convenient and safe workplace for maintaining all major system components, including the engine, fuel filter, air filter, and diesel and fuel tanks. The machine's hydraulic configuration protects hoses from extreme bending and damage, and it facilitates servicing ease. A centrally located automatic grease system lubricates all joints and bearings on the upper carriage at prescribed intervals, while a single grease zerk connects hard-to-reach grease points of the undercarriage to minimize daily servicing requirements.

All new machine purchases come standard with a complimentary subscription to Terex Telematics to improve machine efficiency, productivity and uptime. The powerful monitoring system gives owners critical machine operating data such as operating hours, fuel level and consumption, machine location, service events, and maintenance notifications. Machine service event reporting can be tailored to provide alerts to specific key technicians who can quickly address the situation.

Customized Options
With its wheel drive, the Fuchs MHL350 material handler efficiently navigates around the yard and is powered by a fuel efficient 214 hp (159.6 kW) turbocharged diesel engine. Operators can choose from full power mode operations for more demanding applications such as feeding the shredder and loading/unloading trailers and rail cars. Alternatively, Eco Mode operation can be selected for less demanding tasks to derate engine speed and deliver additional fuel savings.

To reduce ground pressure or accommodate customer preference, the MHL350 can be equipped a flat-shoe or triple-grouser tracked undercarriage to provide high stability and low ground contact pressure. Alternatively, the handler can be built as a stationary, semi-mobile or gantry machine, and a pylon riser can be added in between the upper and lower carriages to elevate the operator and improve visibility. Customers can equip the MHL350 with an electric motor in lieu of the diesel power unit.

FINE-TUNED HYDRAULICS AND INCREASED STABILITY INCREASE PERFORMANCE FOR THE RE-ENGINEERED FUCHS® MHL340 F2 MATERIAL HANDLER

Hydraulic system refinements to the newly updated purpose-built Fuchs® MHL340 F2 material handler optimizes the system for faster, more responsive machine movements.  The handler's dual-circuit hydraulic system handles heavy loads with ease with faster cycle times, making it the perfect machine for industrial waste handling and scrap material handling at feeder yards.
Today's MHL340 handler features a heavier counterweight to provide better lifting stability, even when lifting at extended reaches. Its increased operating weight of up to 67,460 lb (30.6 tonnes) and 14-ft 3-in (4.3-m) outrigger base, combined with fine-tuned hydraulics, deliver improved lifting performance and high productivity.
