Canadian Plastics Industry Association Announces 2017/18 Board of Directors

The Canadian Plastics Industry Association (CPIA), the national voice and leader for plastics industry sustainability across Canada since 1943, is pleased to announce its new Board following the Annual General Meeting to elect Directors and Officers on June 15, 2017.

Sarah Marshall, Leader of Technical Services for NOVA Chemicals, was elected Chair of the Board, Rob Miller of Wittmann Canada was elected Vice Chair and Mark Lichtblau, Vice President of Inteplast Bags and Films Corporation, Haremar Plastic Manufacturing Division, was elected as Treasurer. Terry Elliott, President of Scepter Canada Inc., was elected as Immediate Past Chair of the Board.

In addition, CPIA is pleased to announce the addition of four new Directors including Joel Rudolph, Farnell Packaging; Gilles Lacoste, Imperial Oil Limited ; Michael Green, CKF and Solenne Brouard, Polystyvert.

"We are very pleased to welcome Joel, Gilles, Michael and Solenne to our Board of Directors," said Sarah Marshall, CPIA Chair of the Board. "Their experience and proven business leadership will definitely serve CPIA well." Sarah also expressed thanks to all returning Directors, especially Terry Elliott of Scepter Canada Inc. for his dedicated service as CPIA Board Chair from 2015 to 2017.
