WENDT CORPORATION Announces Partnership with PROMAN Infrastructure Services Pvt. Ltd. to Launch Products in India
WENDT CORPORATION and PROMAN Infrastructure Services Pvt. Ltd have announced a partnership agreement that will make WENDT’s shredding and separation technologies readily available to India’s increasingly expanding marketplace.
The Buffalo, NY-based WENDT CORP. is a leading manufacturer and systems integrator of automobile shredding and non-ferrous equipment in North America. PROMAN Infrastructure Services, based in Bangalore, India, specialize in heavy industrial equipment solutions with a focus on aggregate crushing, screening and grinding. PROMAN will develop a separate sales team to support this new application and partnership.
The relationship is a strong strategic fit, leveraging the two companies’ complementary expertise. Employing over 150 people, PROMAN will contribute local manufacturing infrastructure, an extensive sales network, post-sale service and support, and expertise in India’s industrial market. WENDT will supply a comprehensive portfolio of shredding and non-ferrous products and solutions along with 40 years of scrap metal recycling market expertise.
New government regulations in India mandating that a greater number of end of life vehicles are recycled has recently led to increased interest in WENDT’s equipment. “The partnership with PROMAN represents an opportunity for us to significantly expand our presence in India,” said Tom Wendt, President of WENDT CORPORATION.

Final discussions about a relationship took place in recent weeks with PROMAN Managing Director, R.S. Raghavan, visiting WENDT’s Headquarters and Technology Center in Buffalo. “The visit allowed Raghavan to see our facilities and manufacturing capacity, meet with our sales and engineering team and learn more about our latest developments. The meeting helped solidify the details of our partnership and the next steps in moving forward,” Wendt said.
WENDT representatives will travel to India in the next few weeks to visit PROMAN’s facility and establish initial contact with potential customers in the Indian market.
