Wastequip names new Chief Financial Officer
Steve Klueg brings more than 25 years of financial expertise, with emphasis on manufacturing, to new role
Wastequip, a leading North American manufacturer of waste and recycling equipment, has named Steve Klueg as chief financial officer. Steve Klueg will replace the current CFO, Steve Svetik, who announced his retirement from Wastequip earlier this year. Steve Klueg brings more than 25 years of financial leadership expertise, with an emphasis on manufacturing organizations, to his new role. He previously served as CFO for two corporations, The Affinia Group and Recommunity Recycling, where he led financial strategy and planning, financial reporting, auditing, forecasting, pricing initiatives and business development to increase profitability and strengthen accountability. During that time, he also played a key role in conducting corporate development initiatives for sales acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to his time as a CFO, Steve served as a treasurer, controller and held various positions in accounting, corporate development and financial planning and analysis. Steve, who is a certified public accountant, holds an MBA from Ohio State University.
“I am very excited to welcome a candidate of Steve Klueg’s talent and depth of experience to our team,” said Marty Bryant, chief executive officer, Wastequip. “His background in aftermarket parts and recycling make him a great fit for our business. We also believe that his more than 25 years of financial leadership and extensive experience in strategy development and execution will help position our company for future growth.”
