The Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has given end-of-life vehicle waste disposal sites until September 30, 2016 to comply with new requirements. Sites in Ontario that manage ELV's including collecting, handling, storing, processing, or disposing of vehicles must:
1) Register their site on the Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR), or
2) Obtain an Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA)
