C120 jaw crusher latest from Metso's C-series

The C120 jaw crusher, part of Metso’s C-series range of crushers, combines reliability, crushing efficiency and versatility – in both stationary and mobile applications – with safety and ease of use.  

According to Metso, the high productivity of the C120 is due to several new design elements. The crusher features a long and aggressively directed stroke, as well as a fixed jaw die, which is longer than previously seen in this crusher size class. The C120 also has a large feed opening of 1,200 mm by 870 mm (34 by 47 inches) and an aggressive cavity cross section, securing high performance and high reduction ratio.  

Units are easy to install, designed with various safety features and can be mounted multiple ways to ensure an easy fit onto an existing or a new steel structure. The C120’s nominal power is 160 kW (200 hp), operating speed is 230 rpm, closed side setting is between 70 and 200 mm (2-3/4 inch and 8-inch), and operational weight is 26,000 kg (57,200 lbs) excluding options.   “Metso can now offer aggregates producers, large-scale contractors and mining companies a new crusher that meets all the standards set for any demanding application,” said Ilkka Somero, Metso’s product manager for jaw crushers.
