Integrated monitoring and analytics system for truck bodies/chassis

Unveiled at Waste Expo this year, E-Z Track is the first computer system to actively monitor critical performance components of refuse and recycling truck chassis and bodies.

The E-Z Track system integrates body monitoring – including packing pressures, payloads and cycle times – with chassis analytics such as oil pressure, brake temperatures and tire pressure data. Featuring user-friendly graphical interfaces for drivers (in-cab), maintenance managers at the office, and for handheld devices used by drivers during vehicle walk-around inspections, the product is compatible with industry-leading technologies and can be retrofitted to all brands of refuse and recycling truck bodies.

“The waste hauling industry has benefitted from transformative technologies that monitor chassis and engine performance, driver performance and hauler route statistics,” said Greg Podell, E-Z Pack president. “Until now however, haulers have not had the benefit of immediate body analytics, often costing them thousands of dollars per maintenance issue on the back end because of continued use without a corrective action. E-Z Track is the first communication system to integrate key body analytics with route statistics, on-board cameras, and driver and chassis performance.”

E-Z Track is designed to reduce maintenance and operating costs while improving productivity and safety by ensuring that drivers and fleet managers are simultaneously alerted to immediate data, covering everything from hydraulic oil to electrical issues. Alerts such as “Warnings” and “Criticals” are immediately signalled both in the cab and at the maintenance manager’s computer. An operator’s performance score, called “E-Z Score,” also supports hauler training and incentive programs.
