Ideal for use in recycling applications, Flex-Mat 3 High-Performance, self-cleaning screen media technology is available in a tensioned version as an alternative to woven wire, and in a modular version designed to replace polyurethane and rubber modular screen panels.
According to Major Wire, these Flex-Mat 3 panels provide up to 30 percent more screen capacity than woven wire and up to 50 percent more than polyurethane and rubber panels. Independently vibrating wires increase product throughput by up to 40 percent over traditional or polyurethane panels by increasing open area and eliminating blinding, pegging and clogging.
Flex-Mat 3 is available in a broad range of opening sizes – 30 mesh to four inches – and with a very wide range of application-specific wire diameters.
