Mobile shred truck provides 6,5000 lbs/hr throughput

The shredding system on these trucks features Shred-Tech’s state of the art Plus 1 micro-control with advanced intelligence, which allows for remote diagnostics, advanced predictive idle and auto-shutdown, while remaining easy to use. Plus, a Predictive Idle feature detects low shredder loads in an unattended shredder with an empty hopper. Over a short period of time this sequentially lowers engine RPM to idle, disengages the power take-off system and shuts off the engine. This results in both fuel savings and reduced shredder and engine hours. When operators return to the truck, a remote panel on/off feature allows for restart of the truck and system from a side control panel.  

Like all Shred-Tech units, the MDS-30GT is equipped with the company’s patent pending Gripper Tipper bin tunnel loading system. The Gripper Tipper is the only system available which detects the position of the gripper, which allows for curbside loading. Plus, the system’s tunnel ensures containers stay completely enclosed during loading, protecting material in bins from the elements and prying eyes.   

Additionally, the MDS-30GT’s moving floor loading system can discharge a full load of shredded paper in approximately four minutes, while giving users the added utility of a straight truck when needed to transport boxes and containers.
